Pathway Of Discipleship(POD)Classes 

Sundays 2 – 4 pm

POD 101 - happens at least twice yearly and is a basic understanding from biblical teaching on the local church and its mission, a history of our Christian & Missionary Alliance family of churches, doctrinal statement of faith as well as an opportunity to become a partner-member of Hinton Alliance Church.   October 27

POD 201 - This is a look at ways to develop key spiritual habits or disciplines to enhance and enable us to grow in our most Holy Faith through good habits such as bible study, growth group involvement, tithing and giving, and personal and corporate prayer.   November 10

POD 301 - This is a study on the person of the Holy Spirit and his role in the life of Jesus and his disciples. The class sees to connect the dots and draw clear parallels between the Spirit’s ministry in New Testament times until now within us as his disciples today.   November 17

POD 401 - This study is based on the teachings of the New Testament about the fruit of the Holy Spirit and the passages that list the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It then seeks to encourage each person to seek out areas of ministry that can be explored in order to exercise the use of their gift or gifts.   November 24

POD 501 - Encourages every disciple to become disciple makers. This looks at the ultimate objective of each disciple of Jesus is to become a holy and mature and competent to be able to freely pass along to others all that God has freely given to them.   Disciples committed and able to reproduce their faith in their generation as well as the next one. This class calls us to the heart and soul of an outward flowing life.   December 1
